While always a place of worship first, the Church and its crypt rooms can be hired for community and cultural purposes. The Church has exceptional accoustics and has been used by leading musicians and choirs. Fees depend on the scale of the project and on whether the hirer is a community group or commercial. The church can also be used for filming – for example, the film linked here tells the story of a terrible miscarriage of justice in 1815. Eliza Fenning was buried in a graveyard which today is within the Parish of Holy Cross.
