1.     THE CELEBRANT AND PREACHER AT NEXT SUNDAY’S PARISH MASS (7th August) will be Father  Jim Linthicum, Chaplain of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

 2.     THE MARRIAGE OF JOYCE MBABAZI AND INGEMAR FLORELL YESTERDAY was a very joyous occasion for all of us at Holy Cross Church and the first ‘church family’ wedding in this church for ten years. We congratulate them and offer thanks to all who worked to make the event so memorable.

3.     OUR MONTHLY PARISH LUNCH CLUB MEETS THIS SATURDAY 6TH AUGUST IN THE CRYPT FOR A SIMPLE HOME COOKED TWO COURSE LUNCH. Malika Joaille will be cooking the lunch and if you could offer help do make contact. Lunch is served at 1 pm. Cost £2 each. All welcome.

4.     HOLY CROSS CONFIRMATION CLASS will be meeting on Thursday 18th August at 7 pm at the Vicarage.  The classes also doubles as a refresher course in The Christian Faith. This session: “The Seven Sacraments”. Please pray for this group; for Andrew, Anna, Thomas, Jade, Jaiden and Jonas, and also for baby Adeeb Siddique.

5.     P A C T S  LEAFLETS FOR INDIVIDUAL GUIDED PRAYER AND PARISH MONTHLY INTERCESSIONS BOOKLETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE BACK OF CHURCH. You can also find these aids to prayer on the Parish website.
