1.     MANY THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE LAST SUNDAY’S PATRONAL CELEBRATIONS SO VERY JOYFUL AND MEMORABLE. Thanks especially to those who worked so hard to provide refreshments, music and flowers and to ensure the church looked prepared and beautiful for our celebrations.

2.     AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST – The Bishop of Edmonton, Bishop Robert,  has left us a message in his Patronal sermon about a movement within the Diocese of London which seeks to appoint 100,000 ambassadors for Christ by the year 2020. These are people drawn from parishes across the Diocese of London who will be commissioned by the Bishop to communicate the love of Christ within your own spheres of influence: whether in schools, in the workplace or on our streets. There are three booklets available at the back of church for information and a sheet to sign up to form a group with Fr Christopher and explore this possibility more fully. Sign up now and fulfil the words of 2 Corinthians 5.20 “We are Christ’s ambassadors”.

3.     PATRONAL FESTIVAL FOR ST MICHAEL’S CAMDEN TOWN this Thursday 29th September at 7 pm. Preacher: Fr Gareth Powell. Refreshments afterwards. St Michael’s is situated next door to the big Sainsburys.
