1. A SHEET WITH THE FULL LIST OF HOLY WEEK AND EASTER SERVICES IS AVAILABLE WITH YOUR PAPERS THIS MORNING. Do consult it and make sure you support this church with your presence during our Holy Week and Easter observances.

2. FINAL LENT GROUP MEETING takes place this Thursday, 6th April, at 7 pm in church: “The Return of the Prodigal Son” by Henri Nouwen. We will be speaking of Rembrandt’s painting of the same name and concluding our thoughts and prayers.

3. ECUMENICAL GOOD FRIDAY WAY OF THE CROSS begins at St Pancras Church Euston Road on Good Friday 14th April at 9 30 am. We will wend our way through the streets via the Lutheran Church, Holy Cross Church, Lumen and finish at King’s Cross Methodist Church for tea and hot cross buns. The procession take about one hour.

4. FORWARD NOTICE : OUR PARISH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will take place this year on Sunday 30th April after the Parish Mass. On this occasion we will be voting in churchwardens for the coming year. We will also vote in a new parish church council, revise the new electoral roll and make a general review of the events of the past year. It is important that all current PCC members attend this meeting. PLEASE NOTE THAT ELECTORAL ROLL APPLICATION PAPERS, AND NOMINATION PAPERS FOR CHURCHWARDENS AND PCC MEMBERS ARE NOW AVAILABLE AT THE BACK OF CHURCH.

5. P A C T S  LEAFLETS FOR INDIVIDUAL GUIDED PRAYER AND PARISH MONTHLY INTERCESSIONS BOOKLETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE BACK OF CHURCH. You can also find these aids to prayer on the Parish website.

It has provided us with a strong vision as we plan for our church’s future.

 

1. CAMDEN COLD WEATHER NIGHTSHELTER has now ended its weeks of its support of homeless persons. Many thanks to all those parish volunteers helped to serve breakfasts at St George’s Church, Bloomsbury.

2. LENT GROUP MEETINGS continue this Thursday, 30th March, at 7 pm in church: “The Return of the Prodigal Son” by Henri Nouwen. We will explore the Parable through Rembrandt’s  famous painting and see how we are able to understand the love of God and spiritual home coming. Each week we aim to see the parable from the viewpoint of the Father, the Prodigal Son and the Son who stayed at home. All welcome.

1. OUR PARISH MID-LENTEN MISSION DAY WITH LUNCH AT HOLY CROSS takes place this Saturday 25th March in Church beginning after the 10 30 am Mass at 11am and going on until 3 pm. Lunch will be provided for 12 30 pm. Please sign the list at the back of church of you intend to come. All PCC members should attend this important meeting at which our newly appointed architect, Jonathan Louth, will host a discussion regarding the maintenance and future development of our church building. We will also be formulating our mission plans for the coming years. A Programme for the day is available with your papers this morning. Do let Fr Christopher know if you can come, for catering purposes.

A list is at the back of church for you to sign if you could volunteer to join a small Holy Cross Church group cooking breakfast at St George’s, Bloomsbury. The remaining Sunday is March 26th. We leave Holy Cross Church at 6 30 am and return by 9 am. Thank you!

We meet this coming Saturday as we had to postpone last Saturday’s meal. The following Lunch Club then meets on Saturday 1st April.
