2. ‘VOICES FOR LOVE’ is a concert in our church this Thursday 18th July, beginning at 7 15 pm with refreshments from 7 45 pm. The concert is based on the theme of love and performed by ‘Open for Music’ and features a packed programme of poems and songs – Jonathan Louth, Baritone, Joanna Marie Skillett, Soprano, Marion Wyllie, Mezzo Soprano and Oliver Comins, poet. Tickets at the door are priced at £12 (£10 concessions, & under 18s go free).

 

3. GEORGE DUCKWORTH, RIP.  George was a regular and much esteemed member of our congregation and his funeral takes place this week at Golders Green Crematorium on Wednesday (17th July) at 11 am.

 

4. SYLVIA AMUI, RIP. Many thanks to all who contributed to Sylvia’s memorial service in this church yesterday, which was a very lovely occasion.

1. ‘CARVERS, MUSIC AND MUSES’ – A CONCERT IN THIS CHURCH This is the first of what we hope to be many recital performances here at Holy Cross beginning on Thursday 20th June from 7 15 pm. The music is from Barber, Schubert, Saint-Saens and others and performed by professional musicians from ‘Archi Cantores’.  The evening divides into two : The recital at 7 15 pm and then the music reception from 8 45 - 9 45 pm. Members of the congregation gain free admittance. See fliers and posters at the back of church.
